It has been a while since I updated. I know and I am sorry. Things are going pretty good with life. Robin, the girls, and I drove down to NC to visit my best friend. It was nice to see her. We enjoyed 2 weeks with her family. We then cam back to my moms in PA. It has been soo cold. I am totally missing TX. I would like our warmer weather. We are going to be in PA until about mid to late February.
On a good note, Camille is completely potty trained. That was a very hard task. I have no idea why we had so much trouble, but she only wears a diaper at night. I also had her wear one on the way home from NC but she stayed dry the whole drive home.
I had a great conversation with Patrick this morning. Alot of days our conversations are just a quick one just to know he is alright. Today we talked for 25 minutes and it had substance. We talked about having another baby. We definately on the same page. We are gonna try when he gets back. THis is not an easy feat. It took 5 years to get pregnant with camille. We also have not been preventing for the last 3 years. We will see how it goes. I am baby lusting really bad right now!!!!!
I started weight watchers. Lord knows I need to loose some. I am down about 15 lbs in 3 weeks. I go to the Dr. at the end of the week so I am sure she will be happy about the loss. I am feeling really good about this diet. I am not telling Patrick. I want to suprise him!

For the last 10 years
So since I am new to the whole blogspot and those of you who are reading this may or may not know the story of me I thought I would just let you get to know me.
Patrick and I met online November 27, 1998. He was in Pa celebrating Thanksgiving with a girl he knew from basic training. They we just Friends, her and her family had taken him under their wing since he was so far from home. He was stationed at Fort Drum, NY a 4 hour drive from me. When we first started chatting online we clicked. I had been burned by an online guy before so I was leery. We finally me IRL in the 3rd weekend of February. I knew right away I was going to Marry him. I was in LOVE. He bought me an engagement ring that weekend and also a wedding dress. I also took him to meet my sisters and parents. I broke the news to them that I was getting married but was terrified to tell my dad. I was scared he would freak out. We set a wedding date for June 27, 1999. We told my dad at Easter. I graduated high school on June 9th, 1999. I was 19, old enough to make my decisions. The wedding was small. Not my dream but someday I will get that. (when we renew our vows) We immediately began trying to get pregnant.
When we got back from our honeymoon we immediately moved to NY. We were both young and had nothing except hand-me-downs. We started to see a doctor about ttc in December of 1999.In October of 2000 we moved to Germany. We still hadn't conceived. I hated Germany from the beginning. I was never more than 4 hours away from my family and here I was in a different country. I would fly home often. We were TTCing when ever we were together. I charted and used OPKs. I was even given some fertility drugs by my Gyn. Then September 11th happened. I was terrified to be in Germany. There were anti American protests, not by Germans but other nationalities in the country. I left Germany on October 11th and never went back. Dh would come to the states and see me every 6 months. In October of 2003 he came home for good. We moved to Fort Bragg, NC. I was excited about this move. I swore I would love it. I did. While in NC I met an awesome Dr. She was in my boat. She was going through IVF. She was determined to get me pregnant. At this point we had been ttc 4 years. She finally discovered that I had PCOS and she got me a referral to an RE. We started seeing the RE in April of 2004. On the first month of new meds I got Pregnant. That was December 2004.
I had no symptoms . I had only taken a pregnancy test so that I could take progesterone to get AF. When it came up positive I freaked out. I made my cousin take me to get more tests. I took another one that night and then the next couple days. I announced my pregnancy to my sisters and parents on Christmas Eve and to everyone else on Christmas day. I was excited but terrified. At our first ultrasound there was no baby but there was a sac. I was told to go home that this happens all the time and to come back in a couple days for another ultrasound. Well at this one there was a baby!
The beginning of my pregnancy was fine. I was tired but no morning sickness at all. On March 24th 2005 my father in law was in a horrific accident. He was a contractor working for an oil refinery when it exploded. He was injured very badly. We didn't know if he would live. We flew to TX and stayed there for 3 weeks. FIL lost his right arm below the elbow, and his left leg below the knee. We only left because we had to go back to NC for my big ultrasound. We found out that we were having a girl. We were excited.
On August 27th 2005 Camille Aili Mc made her way into this world by c-section after a rough 3rd trimester. She was born at 6:53 am weighting in at 8lbs 3oz and 20.5 inches. She was beautiful.
After a tough time breastfeeding and allot of tears we ended up on soy formula. During my 3rd trimester my sister and her newborn daughter Alexis moved in with us. They have been with us since. Robin is a single mom. Lexi and Camille are 4 months and 8 days apart. They have become like sisters. Lexi's sperm donor is not in the picture and so she started calling my DH daddy.
In November we moved to Alabama for Dh to attend flight school. He is now an Apache pilot. I met my BFF at Fort Rucker.
September of 2007 we moved to Fort Hood TX. Where we purchased our first home. Dh deployed in June of 2008 and will not be home until September 2009. We are traveling allot between Texas and PA.
I hope that you all feel like you know me a little better now. I hope to get to know those of you who are reading my blog.

My very first post
Hey everyone. I am sure people are not reading yet but I will get started. My name is Melissa. I am a SAHM, Army wife, kind hearted, yearning for more babies, PCOS suffering , and surviving a deployment. My Dh, Patrick is a pilot in the army. A sweet and gentle man who loves his family more than anything. We are proud parents to a beautiful, sweet, and intelligent little girl. Camille is 3. The light of our lives. My sister Robin is a single mom to Alexis, they both live with us. Robin is a SAHM, sometimes shy, and patient (most of the time). Lexi is beautiful, tall, bossy, and also 3. Lexi calls my Dh daddy, she is the only one she has had, her SD is not in the picture. Lexi and Camille are like twins, together since Lex was 4 months old and Camille was born. So welcome to my blog. I hope you enjoy hearing about my search for serenity.
